Switched from Vodafone to Sky FTTP with own Router

Morning all,

I've just switched from Vodafone FTTP to Sky FTTP and I have a TP Link router. I thought I needed to change some settings on the router but the switch was succesfull without having to do anything. Basically the router is still with PPoE and with the vodafone username and password.

Should I change to the Sky MER settings or not bother since its working as it is?

I'm on the openreach network with an openreach ONT connected to the TP Link WAN port and is in router only mode for information.

Sky uses dhcpv6 prefix delegation as well as sky mer.  So it is possible that the tp link is authenticately by prefix delegation (if activated) instead of sky mer

@TomosL Just take a look at who is supplying you wan ip and dns to your tp-link to be sure you are now connected to sky. The www.whatismyipaddress.com will show you also.
