Suspicious Internet Log in screen

Hello, I have been with Sky for a couple of months, and I have noticed odd behaviour while browsing the net.

Ocasionaly a screen that says something to the effect of, Log in to use the internet.

This happend last night (my son viewing god knows what), and after the screen had gone for a couple of minutes the internet connection went down.  Obviously were woried about viruses & malware etc.

This hasn't happend with my last internet provider, so I'm guessing it was a Sky screen that pops up when there's a problem with the connection.

Can you please confirm that this is normal service or not.

If it is normal maybe you could show us a picture of the screen.

Thank you for your help

The Max Hub has a built-in web page with the URL 'myrouter.io' which can appear under certain external fault conditions.

Re: Suspicious Internet Log in screen

I have just typed  myrouter.io in my browser and it doesn't show the screen in question.

A photo etc of the screen would be very helpfull.

I know I should have taken a screen shot, I just wasnt on the ball at 1.30 am  🙂

@Finger Pull you connection from the back off the hub, you may be lucky on the next browser session to see, if not leave the connection off restart the hub by power off/on and will more than likely display for you.

Perhaps worth mentioning that the login page itself is almost entirely useless because at the point it gets displayed the internet isn't working....
