Superfast install

I was due a full fibre install but the engineers wanted to dig up my recently laid block paving right in the middle due to a collapsed pipe. I wanted them to install the fibre along the edge of the block paving but they said they need armoured cable for this and did not carry it. I have heard nothing since and now no order is showing. Original order was February. Do I just cancel my broadband and go with another supplier now?

@shredder1uk Have you called sky to even find out what the situation is, the engineers would have reported on the job and by the sound off your post would not be most favourable response to benifit you, and with the order gone from the system only sky can tell you why.

 

You will have the same issue no matter what you try to do going forward, getting FF has to come with a little give and take, you give the little and the installers take it all, else stalemate....

Unless there's an altnet ISP offering service in your area, you'd be getting the same national network FTTP installation regardless of who you placed an order with.

Hi,

 

I understand that but if sky have cancelled the order without informing me I'm not sure they are the ones to use anymore.
