Streaming poor, continual buffering, near impossible to video call

Sky Max hub. I've called in and had security settings changed and it's made little difference. ITVX particularly bad. Even poor when we disconnect phones etc to just watch TV. Streaming apps off a TV 3ft away. Laptop only upstairs. Any advice? It's not been a great experience I must say. Every test frustratingly says everything is great....

I have the ultrafast plus plan.

 

Reported 470-515 downloads speed

58 to 60 upload speed

A guarenteed speed of 400

 

Slightly Fustrating.

Again this morning in the room next door to the hub we're struggling to stream off of Prime...

@DT90 Can you run the service checker link below, click on the Sky broadband take a look at the last 30 days to what it thinks your system is like, Then same for the WiFi to see what it thinks all off your home looks like. Let me know.

Sorry @JimM1 that link doesn't work? Is there an alternative?

 

I have run the WiFi one a few times over the last few weeks and it always seems to say there is no problems?

Which is slightly Fustrating

@JimM1 speeds of 508, 504 and 502 the last few days apparently.

 

Broadband and WiFi connections listed as "Good", it's a strange one to be honest....

@DT90 Run the speed test below, it will give you a very detailed return as to the network, if you are using a mobile then you will struggle to see the detail. Picture below when cleared for you to see will give you an idea.

@JimM1 that's interesting. Seems really informative!

 

The below is where I am now quickly running it off a phone. 

Seems a tad below the advertised speeds displayed on the Sky app, not sure if I should be experiencing what I am though with the reported speeds?

@DT90 Are you purely a mobile phone user? Son is the same just times you have to break out other devices to go further!
