Plugged my new router in yesterday and there has been a gradual increase in a plastic-y smell. Doesn't smell like burning/ melting plastic but it's not pleasant! It smells more like when you plug a heater in that hasn't been used for a while....
The router is warm to the touch but not hot. Plug not hot.
I have read a few threads on Reddit etc saying some new electronics from China could smell for a while but I have never known something smell this bad!
