Still waiting

Sky messaged me to say that a partial upgrade was coming to my area and they would be sending a package ! Maybe' a replacement hub ! My package came and consisted of 2 cables (identical to the ones already connected to my existing hub) That's it ! WiFi still weak in places so no 'upgrade or improvement' on what I have already !!?!

If you are being upgraded from ADSL/FTTC/G.fast to FTTP then presumably the installation of the optical fibre onto the property hasn't actually happened yet.

If it's the move from PSTN (analogue) to VoIP (digital) voice calls then that doesn't change broadband speed at all and despatching cables appears to be a logistics anomaly.

WiFi is not the same thing as broadband though, and can be 'weak' no matter what speed is arriving at the Hub: all WiFi is zero Mbs on the other side of a few walls.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
