Speedtest

I check my download\upload speed from time to time using Speedtest by Ookla. I can send a screenshot of the recent results which show a huge reduction in speed. Can you help please?

@DonD Dial 150 from your landline 8am to 8pm, if you have not done so have you tried the hub powered off for 5 minutes as a reset?

 

Service checker, use the broadband  and expand by > to see the 30 day history to the hub if it shows you! Linked below!

Thanks for the suggestions Jim, I don't have a landline but I'll try the 5 min reset. Also I've looked at the signal strengths using WiFi analyser . The strength is great on 5g but none of my connected devices is on it and I can't find a way to force it via the admin section on the router

@DonD You do not say which sky hub you have and are using, so not easy to say what is happening 5Ghz band wise, but worth looking at the channel in use  by the Hub!

Thanks again, the hub reset seems to have stabilised the speed variations. My hub is sky max.  I'll try  again to dig into admin mode and id the channel number.

@DonD The 5Ghz band and your WiFi analyser software should show you the running band it's using.
