Smart plugs and sky max router

Ok so old router the smart plugs work fine.

new sky max router they don't work at all.

have changed the security settings and the ghz to 2.4

Fornthe Amazon plugs the Alex app finds the plugs no problem and say they are ready to use but when trying to use they say they are offline. 
spent so many many hours please help otherwise sky max is going in bin

@Johnb21 therecis no reason why a smart plug cannot be connected to the Sky Max hub but Amazon devices can be a pain to connect. One suggested workround is to do a factory reset on each of the plugs. Another is simply to change the hub so its SSID and psssword to match your old Sky hub - easily done in the hub's settings in ghe My Sky app.
