So we have Sky broadband super fast which guarantees a minimum of 65.5mb/s, we've been getting an average of 75mb/s since we got it about 9 months ago until about 11 days ago when the average speed dropped to 30mb/s and the internet drops out completely fairly regularly everyday.
I've called an engineer to have a look since the sky app said the speed to my hub was very poor. The engineer came and left and said the issue was fixed but it hasn't. I'm not sure if we have to wait a few more days but I have no idea what the problem is, everything was working before with no issues in the local area so I am very puzzled. Please help! Thanks!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Pingttt if as I suspect you have a service delivered overa copper line the issue is a less than perfect connection from the cabinet to your home. The engineer will have checked the line and maybe sorted a dodgy joint but often there are multiple joints and another one is causing the issue. Regretfull as Openreach are switching to full fibre they are far less willing to spend time optimising copper connections with a limited lifespan. You can ask Sky to report the issue as not cleared but Ibsuspect not much will get done.
