Slow or no WiFi

Hi we live in a bungalow and have had issues with the WiFi in the garage and a booster was suggested and installed which fixed that issue but now over the last few months the WiFi at the other end of the building is not getting WiFi at all or very intermittent do I need to get another booster or should we get something else TIA
