Slow internet
I'm doing speed tests and I'm getting 20mbps - 25mbps..
im paying for 900!
it says through the app I am receiving these speeds but I am not , sometimes even a tik tok video won't load.
last night on the 2nd of December the whole internet went off and triggered my house alarm.
i left bt 2 weeks ago and never ever had this issue in 3 years.

Re: Slow internet
@Lee313 loss of connection between midnight and 7am is often down to routine network maintenance which will affect any isp including BT. See https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Important-Information-Scheduled-Broadband-Maintenance/td-p/51...
Unfortunately having a fast connection to the hub will not always translate to fast speedon devices connected by WiFi. Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
