Slow internet

Hi, I'm only getting 6 mb on my internet when it should be 35. Please can you look into this as I'm not paying for what I am meant to be provided. I would like some compensation and my speed resolved please. Kind regards, Jaineka

@Jaineka you are notvtalking to Sky by poting in this forum.You can easily check if Sky are meeting the guaranteed speed to your hub by logging into the My Sky app going to the service checker clicking on the broadband link which will show the results of recent checks and the minmum guarantee for your line. The app should offer to get an engineer to check your line if speed are too low or you can call Sky

 

Assuming that is OK the most likely explanation is slow wifi in your home which is outside Sky's control as WiFi speeds are affected by the layout and type of construction of your home. Beyond making sure the hub is in the best placecwhich is out in the open on a surface zbove obstructions like radiators there is not much more you can do without spending money. Skyvwill sell you an add-on called WiFi Max which can provide extenders but note tgecspeed guarantees in this link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
