@Brian1969 your broadband contract defines a speed to the hub not to your devices. This is a common misconception but given WiFi speeds in your home drpend on the lsyout and type of construction these are outside Sky's direct control.
Sky will sell you an add-on called Sky WiFi Max which does have a minimum speed guarantee but thst is 25Mb/s in every room as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max if you buy that package Sky are unlikely to decline to send you a pod booster if you ask for one due to "slow speeds" upstairs if you ask for a second pod an engineer comes out to check coversge before they agree to send one.
