Slow Wi-Fi

It's been two weeks since I've had decent Wi-Fi. It happens sometimes but only lasts a day or two at most, I've never had to do anything about it but this time it's lasting longer. I've done all the checks and whatever they ask, but nothing makes a difference. On checking broadband it does say there is a problem with the Wi-Fi but then it does more checks and says everything is fine. Also puts speed up as 0.1mb/s. I contacted sky via Messenger but they weren't much help. I can't get in contact with them online, your supposed to be able to book an engineer in the checking system but I've not had that opportunity in any of the times I've run the checker. No phone number is given either, not that I want to phone, it gives me too much anxiety just thinking about it, I've not had good experiences in the past when phoning them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to sort my Wi-Fi? Thanks in advance.

Re: Slow Wi-Fi

@cookiemonsteruk

i have tried numerous times to post the table. I am told that there is an unacceptable phrase. 3 pairs of digits. I have changed various parts but them, told still unacceptable due to either further pairs of digits not acceptable or some incorrect HTML.  I then tried a message to you but was told again not acceptable.

I have not found a suitable way of changing the info.

Still stuck!

At the top of the table was there any mention of vdsl or further down any mention of wbc fttp.

Your stats do look bad even for sky essentials and furthermore there is no guaranteed minimum download speed.

Apologies. I must have missed that.

The text indicates 80Mbps is available.  This is the fastest available fttc superfast speed and you must be very close to the green roadside cabinet and much more stable than what you have at the minute . I would advise you contact sky to upgrade as this would give you a guarantee

And to be honest sky would be reluctant to repair that length of copper cable back to the exchange when they already would have fibre some 300 metres away at the cabinet .
