Slow Fibre broadband and constant disconnections

So I am now on to my third router, but Fibre is still going at a snails pace.  It is also constantly cutting out/buffering when I am watching TV.

I have rang the helpline so many times now, and I am getting sick of resetting my router every single day - I've tried the pressing the button for 30 seconds, unplugging for five minutes, unplugging for half an hour, unplugging for an hour.  The speed checker/connection thing is a joke too, it sometimes works, other times doesn't.  But when it does, it usually tells you there is nothing wrong.

I have seen a lot of people have had the same issues as me.  But it looks like Sky is either completely oblivious or pretending there is no issue.

Has anybody had any joy actually speaking to someone who knows what they are doing/talking about, or do I have to put up with this for the next 18 months until my contract is up?

Sky supplies broadband to something like six million addresses in the UK: at any particular moment in time it's inevitable that there are going to be many thousands of 'issues'.
