Skymax box - new setup

Hi folks.  Asking this question for my 85 year old mother.  Im not a sky customer.

 

Mums been with sky for years.  Needed to renew and got a new box which i tried to set up today.  No joy.

 

Network is visible,  but every device we try wont accept the password and none of the subsciption channels work.   Followed the online guide,  reset etc etc from the remote, but still says no network.  Have disconneced all other sky devices,  and the router is in the master socket.  The light on the front is solid white.  When i try to connect through the TV the message is hold the WPS button down which is a pain as its upstairs so ive got my steps in today!!  

 

No activaton date on the outside of the box (as the help video states) and no email relating to this.

 

Any advice1 or suggestions welcome.

@150Edmiston If you have the Sky Max white box and the SR203 that looks the same but is black, then do yourself a huge favour and put the black one back on the system and send the white one back. There is NO need for your 85 year old mum to use a sky Max hub it serves her NO purpose what so ever apart from greif trying to get working and to keep working! Link below shows the hub range....
