Sky wifi booster

Hello , Just want to ask opinions on renting the Sky booster or buying a wifi exstender from Argos or Amozon ? I think Sky want 9pounds a month for there booster, when you can buy a T-link exstender for approx 40pounds + ? Has anyone tried something differant to the sky booster,  Thanks

Sky boosters connect your hub and other Sky devices seamlessly and create a mesh. Whereas 3rd party options may not work as seamlessly.

Thanks for the reply, I was just wondering whether anyone had tried it as the booster is bloody expensive when you work it out over a period of time
