Sky wi-fi

At what time will the Sky Wi-Fi issues in Swindon be resolved

You do realise people work from home and rely on having a stable wi-fi connection.

It has been down for 2 hours and the second outage in 4 days.

As usual you can never speak to a person - except when Sky want to sell you something and then there are plenty of numbers to call and people to speak to.

Looks like I will be switching to another provider

@DWL23

Outages are often caused by Openreach equipment failure, these failures can often be due to weather or actions of people e.g. Crashing a car into a pole. Sky can't hurry up any outages that Openreach need to fix and working from home does not give you any priority because domestic broadband is not a 100% uptime product.

If you WFH and have no office to go to or backup connection method then you should have a business grade contract, not domestic.
