Sky representative ID

Hi Sorry this isn't the right place but can't see an obvious place on the site. My problem is a sky representative visited my elderly parents today about broadband and I'm concerned about their legitimacy. How can I check this? It's for the Preston - Lancashire area

I may be wrong  but as far as I  know, I  have never heard  of a sky representative  visiting  a person  home

Al contact with  sky is done on line or on the phone, only sky engineers come out to install  a satellite dish or broadband  if required  for the broadband  installation  I  would be concerned  about the vist and I  would ring sky aswell about this to check

Your parents were right to be cautious. You can't be too careful these days. They can obviously call Sky if they wish although I'm not sure what information the door to door sales team pass over in order for an agent to be able to confirm the legitimacy. Perhaps show the picture in the link to your parents as it's quite a unique vehicle and uniform.
