Sky pod max issues

Hi, I have received a sky max pod and has been connected etc all ok.

however I'm still getting slow speeds and dropouts so I have bought a new one from eBay.

can I connect this pod to my system or does a sky engineer have to do it? I've tried everything and I can't get it to connect.

I assumed buying one privately would have been easier than trying to ask for another

thanks in advance

@Sakebito

All Max pods are loaned by Sky, so any being sold privately aren't legitimate.

Re: Sky pod max issues

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I understand it's not legitimate, but is there a way to connect them to the system? They sell for quite a bit of money so I'm sure there must be a way?

I've taken a photo of the QR code on the box and the pod but this is what I see on the my sky app.

im actually regretting changing to the max setup as the old system had better signal strength but it was dropping out too often in the end.

And by not legitimate, I mean this is a genuine sky pod. It's just one that somebody has decided to sell on eBay.
