Sky messed with speed

On Monday my broadband cut off and started playing up.  Ooenresvh came other day replaced box in house and new connections to wire outside.  I also had a new router sent me.  My speed is nowhere near as good as I had most time 54-58. I use to get stable speed at 70-72 without a issues.

can't seem to get that speed back. Is there no line reset or anything sky can do

@Rookey007 the one thing that is certain is Sky are not messing with your speed. When work is done on a line the equipment in the cabinet generating thecsignal you connect to gets reset. If the line proves to have a low level of noise the kit will gradually will reduce the noise margin in steps unitl the value reaches 3.3dB or the line becomes unstable. Each step raises the speed a bit typically it takes a week to 10 days to settle. There is no way of knowing in advance what speed you eill end up with but it should be broadlysimilar to what you had before. 🤞

Re: Sky messed with speed

Pretty sure if I should be getting 70-72 I get it by now. When I first joined sky I got that's speed right away

@Rookey007

That's not how DLM works after a reset: it can only step up over time.

@Rookey007 if you have a black Sky hub post your hub's stats see Sky Hub statistics

I did say the DLM system takes 10 to 14 days to optimise.
