Sky hub blocking gaming

I am having an issue where if I am on a direct connection through my sky router games like Dayz or PUBG won't connect to a game server. If I run nordvpn I can connect before gettig kicked for using a VPN. So there is something odd about the direct SKY connection. I turned of Sky Shield completely but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

What do you mean by direct connection? Just without VPN? Or using ethernet rather than WiFi?

Both wired and wireless. The hub seems to block access to the game servers. Apparently something to do with firewalls. I've turned things off and put it in DMZ and still nothing

Some people have been having issues with PS5s too, I wonder if they have the white router. I have the black router and my PS5 PRO and PC works fine.

You people may be onto something with the white router being the cause.

@JordanNewton & @7Jackarmy1 check the settings in the Broadband Shield section of the My Sky app as if set to a low age it will block online gaming. There is nothing in the white hub which behaves differently in regard to gaming.
