I've installed a Ring Battery Doorbell and the Live View works when the doorbell is inside the house, but not when the doorbell is mounted outside.
According to Ring the doorbell is fine, signal strength when outside the house is fine, and there's no reason their end why it doesn't work.
I went through several WiFi related connection steps with them, doorbell is connected to 2.4 connection on channel 6 etc. but both Ring and I are now stuck. They suggested it's a Sky broadband problem - has anyone else had the same issue?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@jb129 we regularly see issues with video doorbells and if your's works when inside the house but not outside thst points to the fact the wifi signal is not strong enough despite what the signal test says. External walls on properties in the UK are typically double skin brick which will inevitably block most of the signal the denser tge wall tge greater the loss. Placing a wifi booster close to the front door can help or placing the doorbell on the door itself as long as it isnt made of metal.
In my own home I have a wifi access point in a room with a front facing window which gives enough signal outsidefor my Ring doorbell.
