Sky home visit
Hi so I had someone turn up at my door step claiming to be sky saying our copper wiring would need to be updated and to set up appointment for an engineer had a sky hi vid on and sky stickered car. And a ID with name on. Was asking for personal info which I refused to give. I said surely if there was going to be a disruption to service or update sky would contact me in writing first not turn up at my door step asking for personal details I just happen to work in banking fraud . Wondering if this process is legit?

Presumably being replaced with optical fibre (FTTP) rather than 'updated', which they really should be clearer about.
