Sky full fibre gigafast +

Hi if anyone could help, I've not long got the sky full fibre gigafast + it is located downstairs in the living room and i feel like am not getting the maximum speeds that i should be getting on my xbox series x which is located upstairs, everytime i test the broadband its 5.1mbps but it doesn't show that on my xbox i only get around 150 which is very low speeds to what i should be getting, If anyone could give me some tips on now to try and sort it would be appreciated thanks!

@CainA  If you're running tests over wifi you'e never going to get the same speeds as you do at the hub, wifi can't give those speeds.

 

Much better to trest using an ethernet connected device.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@CainA What speed do you get testing when you are about six foot away from the sky Hub that you have? If the service checker is working which had some issues on the CF connection to the hub you may be able to see what is being delivered.
