Sky fibre installation queries before installation

Need help with confirmation and advice:

A) an engineer will bring a fibre cable into my house and fit it to a box called an ONT.

My HUB (new one pending delivery) will need to be connected to the ONT.

B) both HUB and ONT need to be connected to an individual power socket or can I use an extension lead?

C) does fibre cable entry point need to be where existing phone socket is?, (any phone sockets become redundant?) ...prefer it not to be as their is only a single power socket there hence need for an extension lead.

A - yes

B - you can use an extension lead

C - no, you can chose (within reason) and you'll discuss the options with the engineer. The copper 'phone line will be redundant.

Also worth noting that the Sky Hub doesn't necessarily have to be near the ONT: the link between the two devices is over ethernet cable and that can be much longer than the standard length supplied.
