Sky broadband problem every evening

Hi,

I have a recurring connectivity problem with my Sky Full Fibre Gigafast broadband.

A streaming service works normally during the day, but every evening it stops working over my Sky connection.

I have tested the same TV and service using my mobile 4G/5G hotspot at the same time, and it works immediately. This happens while the service is unavailable through Sky.

Other services such as YouTube continue to work normally on Sky.

I have restarted the Sky router, but the problem continues.

Could this be a DNS, routing, peering or filtering issue between Sky's network and the streaming server?

Could you please advise how I can test this or investigate the connection to the destination?

Thank you.

@Selvermercan   Which streeaming service are you using? Issues like DNS do not work to a time table.

Re: Sky broadband problem every evening

Hi,

I am using Net IPTV on my Smart TV.

It works normally during the day over my Sky broadband, but every evening it stops working.

I have tested the same TV and the same Net IPTV service using my mobile 4G/5G hotspot, and it works immediately at the same time when it does not work through Sky.

I also have security cameras connected to my Sky broadband, and they intermittently lose connection, particularly in the evening.

Could you please advise what could be causing these connectivity issues on my Sky connection?

The same service works immediately when I switch the TV to my mobile 4G/5G hotspot.

It is a third-party streaming service called Net IPTV.

I have been constantly experiencing issues since I had the internet connection installed; you can see this in your system as well.

Thank you.
