I have also turned it off and pages seem to be loading faster. Ironically this Sky forum one was one of the worst for loading!
Just concerned that I can now be tracked by those with malicious intent.

You could use the other fix where you change the DNS server to Google's. That would mean you don't need to compromise on security.

I did try that but it didn't seem to speed up page loading very much. I may try again when I have a bit more time to experiment. Thank you for coming back so quickly with the suggestion.

Great that's fixed it but .... turning it off means our IP address can be seen by trackers.
When enabled, this feature helps your iPhone or iPad to avoid being tracked online by hiding your IP address from known trackers in Mail and Safari.

This chnage of DNS server to Google is the only solution thats worked for iphones. changed router and had engineers out with no joy... eventually a solution , many thanks . Crazy that Sky cant advise this as an option when you dial in. I was about to leave

How do you do this?

When I try this, it also needs a 'Subnet Mask' code (greyed out hint shows as 255.255.0.0), and possibly a 'Router '(no hint), any ideas what to put in those fields?
thanks

Make sure you are editing the 'configure DNS' section and not the IPV4 or IPV6 sections above it. When you change 'configure DNS' to manual, you then just delete the prior servers, and add 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Good luck!

Yep, think I was in the Configure IP section in error 🤡
Thanks vm, will see if this helps 👍

@elpedro1978 , that 8.8.8.8 change has really worked, we've not had to switch off the Wi-Fi since, thanks very much 👏
