Sky broadband not connecting

Unable to connect to internet having to use mobile data and personal hotspot to link work laptop as won't connect

@linswils1979 Can you please run the service checker, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.


After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

It doesn't find any faults at all. WiFi connects to phone just won't connect to laptops

@linswils1979  do you have a black or white router from Sky?

Black shoes all 4 lights as green. Have rebooted and left off for 15 mins still no change

@linswils1979  Is your mobile phone able to connect to the router?

Yes connects fine - laptops worked yesterday no problem but today there is no internet when you try to add them to the wifi

@linswils1979  Have you tried to forget the network on the laptops and tehn re-boot, then try to reconnect to the router?

Yeah tried absolutely everything
