Sky Wifi Max

I upgraded to Sky Glass with Sky Broadband Ultrafast1 with Sky Wifi Max but if we are watching /streaming TV the internet on my laptop/phone drops.  Testing shows everything as fine but its definitely slower than before we updgraded. Very frustrating!

Re: Sky Wifi Max

It seems to be only when the Sky Glass TV is on.  We didn't have issues like this on the previous Sky broadband (but then didn't have the Sky Glass either)

WHen you say the connection drops on your laptop/phone, does it completely disconnect from the WiFi signal or just stop loading anything?

Re: Sky Wifi Max

It stops loading anything (even something simple like Google homepage or my outlook tells me it is offline) and then when I look at the wifi on my laptop it shows as either disconnected (globe icon) or 'no internet'.

We aren't having any issues with the streaming on the TV so assume that is taking it all but I was assured that it would be more than enough to cope with all normal household use.

Do you have any sort of boosters, extenders connected to the hub?

Does the My Sky app show any issues when you run the test?

Its difficult to diagnose on the Sky Max hub because there isnt any router stats.
