I have recently purchased Sky Wifi and included the Wifi max option. The signal strength from the router is awful! I'm talking 1 bar for signal less than 10 feet away with 1 wall between the router and device. Even standing 1 foot away with no obstruction is showing as 2/3 bars. It reaches every room in the house intermittently but also disconnects from several devices every now and then and I assume that is due to weak signal. Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have any suggestions on how to improve the signal? I asked the Open Reach installer to move the router to a better location but they wouldn't do that without booking separately, but I think the signal strength would still be too weak even in a better location.
