Sky Wifi Max Price

Hi,  my router model is SR203,  and I’m on Sky Broadband Superfast.   I live in a steel house with cladded walls and went on the sky app and said I can upgrade to the Sky Wifi Max router,  but why do we need to pay 8 a month to get the router? As I feel my current router disconnects all the time and feel its very sluggish.  I’m paying 109.30 a month as it is and in contracts continually to get a cheaper price.

thanks in advance

Many Thanks

Alistair

Because that's the Sky business model: the monthly cost is for the WiFi Max service, covering parental controls and potential booster loan

The Max Hub is the current default hardware for new FTTP orders.
