Sky WiFi stopping access to National Lottery App and website

Hi,

Since yesterday I can't load the National lottery app or national lottery website when my iPhone or iPad are using my Sky WiFi connection.  

I've eliminated it being to IOS operating system as the iPhone s on IOS 18.5 but I haven't yet updated the iPad.  

If I turn WiFi off I can then access the lottery app again on my phone.  By process of elimination the issue seams to be with my Sky broadband access.  I've not changed any of my internet settings, there was a similar issue in the forums last year but nothing recently?

Have you tried changing your Broadband Shield settings ?

Hi, I haven't made any changes to my broadband shield settings, I have just checked them and nothing has changed the settings are as they have always been and how I like them.  Thanks

I know that's the problem, I know there is nothing wrong with the app or lottery website but for some reason I can't access if using my Sky WiFi and I gave not changed any settings?

@Sleepy7 I just connected on my sky wi-fi direct wireless connection from my laptop, and it connected fine.

Well it isn't working for me.

Tried something else, turned wifi off then rebooted phone then logged on with 5G then while still logged in switched to wifi and that worked.  Not sure if that is a fix or a fluke.

Probably a daft question but do you have the Shield set to block gambling/online gaming websites aimed at over 18s? That might be why it's not working.

Mine blocks porn sites.

Even though I'm considerably over 18.

Hi,  I have checked the shield settings again as this still isn't working.  I can't see one specific to gambling, online gaming is inticked.  I have now added the national lottery website as an allowed website and it still won't connect when using WiFi.  I should add that other family members aren't affected by this currently it seems to just be me. I can't get it to work on 5G either this morning.

Update, with 5G now not working either it turns out it could be the VPN as it works if I switch it off.  Not changed any settings their either except I have now added the lottery as an approved website but it still won't work unless the VPN is off.  Going to contact their support next.

@Sleepy7 Did see it, was asking regarding white as it has a VPN issue, with the black SR203 i have NEVER had any vpn type issues in the slightest.

Did you ever get this sorted please? I've been having exactly the same issue. Works fine when I switch off my wifi and use mobile data. Seems to be an issue with sky wifi.
