I had Sky Q for a long time and last year I added two Sky mini boxes. for bedrooms upstairs.
Because of the shape of my house, the engineer had to install three boosters to get the signal to the mini's. When I got home from work it was no longer connecting to the boosters but I by moving them around I managedf to get it working fine with just two boosters.
Strangely they were Sky broadband boosters, not Sky Q boosters, maybe they are the same?
During the recent storm we lost power for 6 days and when the power returned I had a huge problem getting sky back up and running. I decided it was more difficult because we do not have Sky broadband so I decided to switch to Sky so that all the boxes were compatible and it would eliminate connection issues.
The Broadband is working great but when I switch on the boosters they do not connect to anything so the only way I can get my Sky Q fully working is with a very long ethernet cable from the router which is not a permanent solution.
I have tried to get help on whatsapp and messenger but it takes hours to get a response and they cannot seem to grasp my issue.
The only light on all three Sky Boosters is the power light. The wifi light will not light up and consequently the WPS button will not flash amber when I press it.
I have tried resetting all three boosters many times .
Can anybody here help?
