@ranb12 I did read your post but chose to point out thst customers have a real choice as to what equipment they use. If you feel you were misled by Sky's agents complain with dates and times of the calls so the recordings can be listened to.see How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help |

@Chrisee in most cases it won't be a "choice" for people to make. Either because they don't know how to swap their equipment for better ones, maintain their own equipment, afford further equipment or afford to not receive support for their equipment from someone readily available (like a Sky agent). Just because you have those privileges, it doesn't mean everyone has and that's where internet providers like Sky, who make millions per year, have to step up.

@ranb12 You are correct, sky supply a hub, it easilly connects to the sky system through whatever connection type it needs.

And 99 to 100% off the time it will work fine, until all the wireless wi-fi side starts falling apart, whether it be hub or device!

@Virajpatel in many homes you need more than a single WiFi source to get WiFi in every room. This is especially true of the Sky Max hub which is not that great in homes with solid internal walls as many older British homes have.

I like some other customers use a third party WiFi system in place of the Sky hub as even with the extender pods which can come as part of the Sky WiFi Max package coversge was still not great. Each home is different so different so,utions are required.
