Sky Max Hub Orientation

This might be a strange question, but does the Sky Max Hub have to be stood up like the picture below or will it also work laying flat on its side, without overheating or any other negative effects

I have always  had my hub stood  up, as in the photo, mainly  because  it's  in the window  now  since  January  of last  year  after   had full fibre  to  the  property fitted  and had the optical network terminal box  put in the living room and also because  your  password  is on the bottom  of the hub

That wouldn't be the orientation around which the layout of the internal WiFi antenna array was designed.

My cats were forever knocking it over onto its front and it would cripple the WiFi
