Sky Max HUB issue

Hi, I've had no internet for a week now as my sky max hub is slowly flashing green. This happened out of no where as I've had this hub for half a year now. Anyway, we had an engineer out on Monday and they said the line is perfect and I'd need a new hub. So I received the replacement and it worked fine for 15 minutes before doing the exact same thing, slowly flashing green.

 

Tonight I tried my friends black hub and it worked perfectly. I'm not clued up on these things so if anyone could enlighten me as to what's going on with the Sky Max hub, that would be much appreciated.
