My broadband is down since 5:30 am B17 postcode. I've tried resetting several times. Whats the issue?

Also at this time of year it probably won't be until mid january at the earliest before any switch to another isp can be actioned

My Sky Account has status updated as outage in my area which is B66 - I guess the entire Birmingham and Sandwell area are being affected and that could solely be due to the nearest datacentre issues (Nottingham or Sutton Coldfield)

Seems to be a network issue in the wider birmingham area

Same in the B66 area for me! No internet, and unable to connect to an advisor from phone number because it's closed! Absolute joke!

Yes - there seems to be an outage in my area for sure as confirmed on my Sky status checker

How disappointing. Of all days. My time off work and can't use the service. What a shambles. Can someone from Sky,please tell me when/ if this will be sorted?

@Sjm12 check the connection checker in the My Sky app over a mobile connection as ghst will tell you if Sky are aware of an issue. If it doesnt give Sky a call to report the fault BUT notmuch can be done until after the holiday.

I've just turned off my BT openreach box and switched it back on. WiFi now back up and running. Yippeeeeeer! In Harborne, B17. Hope this helps, Merry Christmas 🎅🏻
