Today I have switched to Sky fibre.
During the discussions about cancelling my previous supplier (Talk Talk), I repeatedly asked would I have to change my router and WiFi extenders - I was told no.
On returning to my property after the installation (another adult was present) I find my router had been swapped out,
this in turn impacting my WiFi extenders!
So what can be done to ensure my WiFi extenders work properly to extend the WiFi signal within my house?
A slightly annoyed Customer!

@DSH69 OP is online poster and there are many way's to connect and have as you wish, it also depends on ONE major, do you use a landline! Really surprised TT have not requested anything back, you may wish to hang fire on that as it may becoming down the pipe line from them if you have just moved to sky, sure they don't like leaving there own equipment around as it is there's and not your's to do as you please with!
Type eero in the search bar you will find a few examples, if you need the specific i will go find it for you!

@DSH69 Depending on the router that you had before it may work and connect to the sky service, until you try it you will not know!

@DSH69 sounds like there was a misunderstanding. If you were using a Talk Talk router then that definitely wont work. However if you had a third party router then it probably will work but the engineer will always install and test the connection with a Sky hub
Nothing stopping you from switching your old router for the Sky hub if you prefer but Sky do not offer support with configuring thid party equipment. If you would like help setting up your own router post the make and model number and forum members can advise. Dont lose the Sky hub though as you will need to return it if you leave Sky and will need to reconnect it before Sky can support any line issues.
One feature thst requires the Sky hub is the digital voice line which only works if a Sky hub is connected to the line. If you want to use that feature simply connect your old router behind the Sky hub and useca Double NAT set up which usually simply works but some apps can have issues.

Hi thanks for the comment.
I was previously using a Talk Talk supplied. EERO router with two WiFi extenders.
The EERO system enables a mesh WiFi signal which worked perfectly, The functions of the EERO APP where also beneficial.
I know have to switch WIfi signals as I move away from the Sky router (yes, a 1st world problem!), but I just want simplicity and signal all over the house and what I am paying for.
Suggestions , greatly received.

@DSH69 If you have to send the main EERO Router module back to TT then easiest to buy a replacement for it and do that, EERO is way by far superior and with the mesh unit's back to normaly. There is a posting from a few months ago advising that OP to do the exact same, so you should be able to search for it. Once he did sure he reported all working again!

Hi JimM1
TT haven't requested the return of the unit so I will look to re-use it.
What does OP mean?
Being new to this community, is there a way I can search for the article you referred to?
I appreciate your comments and support with this.
