Sky FTTP and Netgear Orbi

Hello. Thank you for reading my post.

I have had Sky FTTP for 2 years now and have been struggling to get it to work reliably with my Netgear Orbi's. My setup is that Ive Cat5 wired my main Orbi into the Sky Router, which is Cat5 wired into 2 sattelites and using a power plug, Ive connected the third.

My Orbi is in router mode so Ive had to play with my settings to avoid double natting. I did try it in AP mode but when I did this, it caused problems connecting the my Sky box and the online content. I would need to relog in everytime I used it. In router mode I dont have this issue.

Has anyone got it working in AP mode and resolve this issue?

Re: Sky FTTP and Netgear Orbi

@Buzzc0cks

The Netgear Orbi has DHCP Option 61 authentication that Sky use for authenticating to Sky directly without the Sky router. If you don't need the Sky phone then wouldn't this be a better method of connecting the Netgear Orbi mesh system to Sky?
