I have just had a garden room built and I have had an Ethernet cable installed. The Ethernet cable is connected to the back of the SKY router in the house, If I put the Ethernet cable into the SKY puck in the garden room, will the puck act as a WiFi booster or should I buy another router and link the puck via WiFi?

Thanks very much for the replies.
What access point would you recommend? I've had a quick look but it seems quite confusing...😔

Personally I'd recommend using a router that can be put in AP mode.
I have a TP-Link AX20 that I've used in AP mode.
It has WiFi 6 and four ethernet ports in addtion to the fifth that you use for the uplink.
Probably cheaper than the equivalent wireless access point.
