I use Sky Broadband Shield to block access to certain websites (primarily YouTube) during the week so my kids don't spend all their time on it. However, this week, I can't seem to switch it off. The portal shows that it's switched off ("Disabled") but YouTube is still blocked. I've turned the shield off and on again multiple times, have reset my router twice - YouTube is still not working. It's worked fine for months prior to this, so I don't know what's happened here. The only thing I can think is that my agreement to update my Broadband to SuperFast Fibre earlier this week (being switched on at the end of Nov) has somehow deactivated the connection to Broadband Shield for my current Broadband line. I phoned Sky - they were equally stumped and insisted the problem wasn't their end. All help gratefully received!
