Sky Broadband FTTP Upgrade Keeps getting Cancelled Straight after Ordering

Hi All

 

I wonder if anyone could help me because I keep going around in circles with Sky.  I've got Sky Superfast fibre 35 and upgraded it to Full fibre 75 yesterday.  I checked today and it was still on 35.  I used the online chat and spoke to 2 broadband technical advisors who said the order had been cancelled due to an issue with BT Openreach and I'd need to phone the installation and provisioning team and gave me a number to phone.  After phoning I got through to an adviser who put the order through again, then I got an email saying there was an issue with the order and I should phone another number.  The adviser said to phone the number.  I rang this twice but just got put on hold and it said there is a 40 minute wait and they sent me a text with how I could fix any issues.  I've checked with a BT Openreach checker link I saw on another thread and they say I can have up to 1000Mb/s.  I'm a bit frustrated on how I can speak to the correct Sky advisor. Thanks.

@Stephen+Deeley Even if OR say that Fibre is available, until the ISP sky in your case has it all done there end it may not be possible to get.

There is more than just OR saying yes you can have it....

There also has to be an Installation from OR with all the equipment that is required, it is not order today, switch it on in the afternoon type situation!

@Stephen+Deeley  You need to call the number you were told to on Tuesday as no one here will be able to tell you why your order is being cancelled.  If there is a queue you'll need to wait in that queue.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
