Sky Booster Not Mesh
Hello everyone
when I first got my sky tv and broadband package, an engineer installed a booster to get my wifi to a mini box at the opposite end of the house to my router and main box.
I have since switched to Virgin and the booster was only used to boost the main box signal to the mini. I think the booster the had its own ID when it hadn't previously.
im back with Sky Broadband now and it seems like the booster is still creating its own ID when I want it to be the 'mesh' it was when first installed. I've tried resetting and reconnecting to router but keeps creating the additional network.
any help much appreciated.

Re: Sky Booster Not Mesh
I've got a Sky Max hub and a Sky Broadband booster.
if I need a Sky Max pod, is this something Sky will send me to replace the booster?

Re: Sky Booster Not Mesh
@BulletproofQS Ok, that pair does not go together in the slightest, but if you still have the sky Q / Mini in the home, you need the sky Broadband Booster for those....
If you still have boost on your billing then they may send, but you need to have the sky Max and the addon at circa £10 extra per month to get the sky Max Pod to go with the sky Max Hub.... And you still need to call to get the firsy one anyway.... Linked below all about so take sometime and have a read!

Re: Sky Booster Not Mesh
@BulletproofQS It gets real complicated with the sky Max hub and the sky mesh/sky q/mini etc... I am not the one to best advise on it for you Got shot off my Q yonks ago, and would not have a sky Max hub for love nor money! Treat the Max and the Q as NOT SKY devices for connecting together!
