Sky 6 Hub - whuch Wifi camera is compatible?

Hi All,

I have the new Sky Hub6 which looks like it's not configured correctly (sky are looking into it) but the issue I have is I need to have WiFi cameras at home and I believe I might need to change my current camera's as they work off 2.4GHz,

Can anyone suggest any camera's that work with the new Hub, I really don't want to be wasting time sending cameras back and forth to find the correct one ? Thank you 😊

@Itssme you should be able to connect your current cameras to the Hub6 so why not try before buying new ones. The process is quite simple using the My Sky app - assuming Sky have configured that for you - go to the Sky Max Hub entry and click the Advanced Option and choose Disable Wifi. On the next screen disable the 5GHz band. Once the hub resets then attach your cameras then repeat the process but turn the 5GHz band back on. Most devices stay connected.

Re: Sky 6 Hub - whuch Wifi camera is compatible?

Hi @Chrisee ,

I thought it could be done but Sky haven't configured the Hub correctly,  I'm unable to access any settings at all and I'm just hoping they sort it out quickly as I don't want to loose the cameras when mu old provider switches off.

I'm just trying to get ahead of the game just incase it's a no go.

Thanks for your help I will definitely give it a go.
