Should be getting 45Mb/s but can't seem to get above 4Mb/s lately - super slow connection.

For the past 3-4 days my connection speed has severely dropped. I am supposed to be getting 45Mb/s at least, sometimes this drops but never to as low as it is recently. Gaming is virtually impossible and watching shows or youtube has to done at 360p without buffering. I have tried all the relevant steps to resetting the router and even tried moving it to another location but nothing seems to work. My upload speed is still fine, and says what it should be - just struggling with download speed.

Here are my router stats:

This is my first post, so let me know if anyone needs any other information! Thanks 🙂

Hi @Panda28

We can see quite clearly from your stats that you have a line fault as you say you should be getting 45mbps but the router is only syncing at 44mbps and your throughput you said is only a couple of mbps. Additionally the noise margin is at 15dB when it should be at around 3-6dB. You can either call Sky to report the line fault or we can escalate your post here to chat with Sky however replies are not instant.

@Panda28

That noise margin of 14.1 is too high. So a definite sign of a fault. What were you told your minimum guaranteed speed should be ?
