Setting up a new printer

I recently purchased a new hp desk jet 2800e, I've got it connected to my sky super fast but it won't connect to my computer. I've changed the Wi-Fi settings to WAP2 but it still unable to connect printer to computer. Anyone got any ideas.

Have you had your computer search for all available printers because it should find it if both your PC and printer are on the same wirless network.

Yes both the printer and computer are on the same network but my computer just won't connect to the printer.

@Rosemary4 You have looked at the HP site, downloaded any drivers or specific software, if not then the generic windows driver may just not cut it...

Does your computer see your printer ?

Yes it sees the printer just won't connect to it.

If it sees the printer then does it not work when you try to print something from your computer ?
