Serivice

I was meant to have open reach install a line 23rd Sept, they could not. They have come out this morning with no instruction  and the exact same out come has arrived. I've been charged £21 by sky and my services are not live. I've also lost my loyalty bonus now with virgin smdue to ending the contract and at risk of them charging me another month at full price. If the service can't be installed I need to know so I can arrange alternative arrangements. I specifically asked open reach last time if they had a different solution as I explained what happened antheg assured me it would not be a wasted visit which it was.

@KevinDawson @You will be accumulating compensation which will be credited once the service is complete see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com

Openreach install around 80k fibre lines each week some inevitably don't go to plan unfortunately including yours. If Openreach cancel the order as impractical  then you will be repaid any deposit by Sky.

'Different' to what?

Typically there's no option to swap between pole and duct delivery and only limited variations on cable delivery point.
