Re: Scam broadband supplied by sky???
@christopher60 The issue is it will depend on ehere people live what speeds they get you won't get a true comparison, however if your paying £55 per month it sounds like your out of contract so need to negotiate a new deal?.

Re: Scam broadband supplied by sky???
@christopher60 Oddly Sky are in business to make money I know that is a chalkenging concept but nothing stoping you from shopping around when you are out of contract but use a site that displays products available at your address.
Incidentally it costs Sky more to deliver a connection over a slow partial fibre line as to supply a much faster service over a full fibre line. The speed a partial fibre line can deliver depends on the length of the copper line from the cabinet. The cost of handling the data is tiny in comparison to the cost of the network and support which are higher on the old network as it is less reliable so costs more to maintain. That is why Sky push people to switch to full fibre when it is available.
