SR213 with Sky Q ?
I have Sky Q 2tb main box and three Multi-Room boxes along with the SR203 router and have the 500mb fibre package.
I also use Devolo plug in wi Fi extenders to my kids rooms so they can use Ethernet.
The wi-fi isn't great so I was going to ask if I could have the newer SR213 white router to see if it was better than the SR203 but I have read a couple of articles saying that the SR213 will not work with Sky Q or multiroom boxes or 500mb fibre..
Isthis correct or will it work exactly like my SR203 only hopefully better ?
I presumed it was just an upgraded 203 with wi Fi 6 and better Ariel's and hardware.so had hoped it would be better.

Re: SR213 with Sky Q ?
The sr213 is not available to anyone with more than 1 sky q mini on their account. Keep an eye on the forum for updates on this

Re: SR213 with Sky Q ?
Thank you.
Even though we have 3 mini boxes 2 are unplugged as the kids rarely have them on.
Does the 213 work with Sky Q and 1 mini box ?

Re: SR213 with Sky Q ?
Its not to do with the number of minis you use but more the number showing on your account. So if you account shows more than 1 mini you won't be able to order

Nope: it's a different technology stack with app administration and significant server-side processing: worth noting it's effectively the first Hub from Sky under Comcast ownership, and consequently hasn't inherited the legacy 'Q mesh' compatibility.

Re: SR213 with Sky Q ?
My account is only 1 multiroom. I bought the other boxes myself.
So this different tech means it will not be any better than the 203 for me even using one multiroom box.
Thanks for the info

Re: SR213 with Sky Q ?
We have a 2TB Q box and 2 mini boxes on our account and have just upgraded from the older SR203 hub to a SR213 hub. About to install it over the next couple of days.

The restriction on households with Q television has been removed since this thread began.
